Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing............. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing...

The school bell snapped me back into reality. My eye's slowly moving from the work paper to the clock in the front of the class. It seemed to scream 2:45 as if trying to warn me. This was the normal routine in elementary. I took the long way home to dodge the usual pack of kids waiting to pick on the different guy. Finally getting home at 3:30, I heard the familiar voice of my mother yelling from inside. "So it's one of those days." I said aloud prepping myself for the crazy. I open the door slowly and peek inside..... "Mom?" I yell out. "THAT PIECE OF s**t IS CHEATING ON ME!!" she replies from her room. I cautiously moved my way to the back room when suddenly I had the dodge a lamp being thrown. "MOM!!?? What's going on!?" I peek in to see her standing on her bed pacing muttering to herself, every now and then grabbing the nearest thing throwing it at the closet. "Really mommy, what are you doing?" I was terrified at this point, hoping she wouldn't split to some one else and I become the target. "Your s**t of a father is in that closet ******** another woman!!" I cringed. My father was at work, which means I I was alone to deal with this. "Mommy, dads at work. He loves you, he wouldn't leave us." Yeah, not the best defense but I was a child. "Fuuuuck that, (Insert head sway) that dickless wonder would drop us in a heart beat Micah, what do you know?" Looking back, she did have a point. Its a human condition. Its easier to move onto another lover then to actually fight for only one. And humans think they're decent........ Oh yeah, sorry, tangent... "Let me look inside the closet, mama. I'm sure no ones in there." I slowly move towards the closet door, yes it was closed, hoping she would't unload. I open the door to find...... Nothing.. Of course. Turning to her I couldn't look directly at her. "No one's in there mom..... I'm going to my room." I started to my room but stopped at the door frame. She was confused only for a minute then yelled, "YOUR LYING FOR HIM!!" she grabbed the phone and threw it at the closet. "I love you mom......" I didn't wait for a reply. She was too into her delusion.
